This week, the National Center on Sexual Exploitation (NCOSE) once again exposed a hair-raisingly disturbing reality: childlike sex dolls continue to appear for sale through Amazon's marketplace despite years of public pressure and previous promises to address the issue.

This is alarming, repugnant, and horrifying. I hope if you're reading this that you feel equally nauseated and join me in being a Sacred Steward and become part of the Sacred Stewardship Alliance.

The children are counting on us.

The sale of childlike sex dolls is not an isolated problem. It is evidence of a much larger crisis that our culture is still reluctant to name.

We are facing a pedophilia crisis of epidemic proportions.

Every day, law enforcement agencies around the world are overwhelmed by reports of child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Millions of images and videos depicting the rape and torture of children circulate online. Predators have unprecedented access to children through connected devices, social media platforms, gaming environments, and encrypted messaging apps. Sextortion cases are exploding. Online grooming crimes continue to rise.

And yet many people still act as though these are isolated incidents rather than symptoms of a much deeper societal breakdown.

At Sacred Stewardship, we believe our culture has lost its moral compass and our children are paying the price. #UNDERSTATEMENT

For decades, pornography has been normalized, defended, commercialized, and mainstreamed. What was once considered dangerous and destructive is now often treated as entertainment, self-expression, or even a healthy part of modern life.

But pornography does not remain static.

Pornography rewires the brain's reward systems. It often drives escalation, desensitization, and the pursuit of increasingly extreme material. Many survivors, therapists, researchers, and law enforcement professionals have warned for years that the pornography industry has helped normalize violence, coercion, exploitation, and the objectification of human beings.

When a culture spends decades teaching that people exist for sexual consumption, we should not be surprised when some eventually begin seeking more extreme and disturbing forms of gratification.

Childlike sex dolls are not appearing in a vacuum.

They are appearing in a culture that has spent years eroding boundaries, normalizing child sexual abuse, sexual exploitation, and blurring moral lines that once protected children.

CHILDREN ARE SACRED

Through Sacred Commerce and the Sacred Commerce Alliance, we believe consumers have both the power and responsibility to redirect their dollars toward companies that align with human dignity and child protection. We cannot wait for Amazon or other corporations to place children or moral integrity ahead of profits. We must lead with our wallets and support businesses that do. What we fund today, we will find tomorrow.

The deeper issue is that we are witnessing what happens when moral clarity is replaced with moral relativism. When God is removed from the center of culture, something else fills the vacuum. When objective truth is abandoned, almost anything can eventually be justified.

This is why Sacred Stewardship exists.

Because the crisis beneath the crisis is formation.

We cannot educate, advocate, or legislate our way out of a crisis of formation alone. We must also confront the spiritual and cultural forces shaping hearts, minds, and identities.

We must be willing to tell the truth:

  • We have a pornography epidemic.
  • We have a child sexual exploitation epidemic.
  • We have a pedophilia epidemic.

And we have allowed ourselves to become so desensitized that many people no longer recognize the severity of the crisis unfolding around them.

The answer is not despair. The answer is repentance, moral courage, and a return to truth.

Truth in Love. Faith in Action. Courage in Culture. Any questions?

It is time to bring God back, restore moral clarity, and protect innocence. We have a sacred responsibility to do so. And we better step up. And fast.

Men. Fathers. Grandfathers. Uncles. Pastors. Teachers. Coaches. Business Leaders. Legislators:

I am pleading with you: Rise Up. If pornography has a hold on your life, bring it into the light. If lust has become a stronghold, renounce it. If you have contributed to the objectification of women, the exploitation of children, or the normalization of sexual brokenness, repent. Not tomorrow. Today. Jesus Christ stands ready to forgive, restore, heal, and transform every person willing to surrender their life to Him.

Our children need more than our concern - they need our leadership. They need men and women willing to stand in the gap and say, "Not on my watch."

History will judge this generation by how we responded to the exploitation of children. May it be said that when innocence was under attack, we defended it.

Because the future of our children depends on whether we are willing to confront evil for what it is and reclaim our responsibility to stand against it.
