We need to be clear about something:

What’s Really Being Exposed
Yes—these platforms are being held accountable. Yes—systems are being named. Yes—leaders are now being called out, including Mark Zuckerberg of Meta Platforms.
But if we stop there…
We are missing the deeper issue. Because what is happening is not just technological.

The Real Battle
We are not just dealing with apps, algorithms, or content. We are dealing with:

And if we are honest… these harmful platforms have been discipling our children.
The Hard Truth
If our children’s identity is not firmly rooted in Christ… it will be shaped by something else. And right now, that “something else” includes:

Algorithmic influence

Digital validation

Distorted views of sexuality

A culture that disconnects identity from truth
This is why so many families feel like they are losing ground. Because this is not a neutral environment.
Why Awareness Alone Is Not Enough
Yes, we educate so we have awareness. Yes, we advocate for stronger laws and accountability.
But hear this clearly:

We will come up woefully short… If identity is not rooted in Christ. |
Because you cannot out-parent or out-regulate a system that is shaping the heart.
What Sacred Stewardship Is About
Sacred Stewardship is not just about protection. It is about restoration and formation, helping individuals and families become so rooted in Christ that:

Truth becomes their anchor

Identity is no longer negotiable

Discernment replaces confusion

Freedom replaces dependency

SEE — Expose what is actually happening. Not just content, but systems, patterns, and influence. SHAPE — Rebuild identity, values, and worldview, rooted in Christ, not culture. SHIELD — Establish boundaries, protections, and environments that align with truth. |

The world is not waiting. It is forming. It is discipling.

If the Church does not lead in this moment… Many things already are. |
A Word to Parents
This is not our fault. But it is our calling.
We have been entrusted with something sacred. And we are not powerless, but we need to lead with truth.
This Is What We’re Raising
This is not about raising “tech-safe” kids. This is about raising:

Children who know who they are, and Whose they are

A Closing Prayer
Lord,
Wake us up to what is shaping this generation. Give us courage to lead where we have stayed silent. Root our children deeply in truth, so they are not swayed by the world. Restore what has been lost. And raise up families who walk in clarity, authority, and freedom.
